1. How to get to Taman Negeri Rompin, Pahang?

Taman Negeri Rompin (TNR) is accessible by car and located approximately 30 minutes from Kuala Rompin and 1 hour from Mersing. The junction to TNR is located at Kampung Selendang. Vehicular access is available all the way by tarmac road into Kinchin Base Camp. However long and heavy vehicles should exercise caution when travelling into TNR due to narrow roads and steep gradients.

2. How long does it take to reach Taman Negeri Rompin from Simpang Selendang junction?

The journey will take approximately 30 minutes as the distance is 30km from Selendang Junction.

3. When is the best time to visit Taman Negeri Rompin, Pahang?

The best time to visit TNR is during March until October. However, we are open daily, all year round unless stated otherwise.

4. What are the operating hours of Taman Negeri Rompin, Pahang?

We are open daily from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Last admission is at 3.00PM.

5. Is Taman Negeri Rompin open during public holiday?

Yes, Taman Negeri Rompin is open everyday to the public including public holiday unless stated otherwise on our website or social media account.

6. Do visitors need to wear masks during MCO/CMCO inside the Taman Negeri Rompin?

It is compulsory for all visitors to wear masks and follow the SOP provided within the basecamp. Failure to do so allows TNR to deny your entry.

7. Can visitors bring outside food to Taman Negeri Rompin?

Visitors entering TNR are not allowed to bring outside food as we are implementing no plastic policy to reduce plastic usage and littering. Visitors can purchase foods at Cafeteria, vending machines and refill drinking water at the provided area.

1. Is there any admission fee to enter Taman Negeri Rompin, Pahang?

Each entrance to TNR is compulsory to pay the following entrance fees prescribed by the Pahang State Forestry Department.

2. How do I pay the admission fee to enter Taman Negeri Rompin?

Visitors can book in advance at our website, by contacting  our reservation office  or just walk in to the basecamp and make payment at the entrance gate.

3. What are the facilities that I am entitled to by paying the entrance fee?

Visitors are entitled to enjoy basecamp facilities such as Rainforest Discovery Centre, Kinchin River suspension bridge, watch tower, Seri Mahkota Waterfall and Kinchin Base Camp public areas.

4. Where should I register upon arrival at TNR?

All visitors are required to register at the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC) upon arrival.

We do require a minimum 2 people for each booking of guided activities.

3. How many days in advance do I have to book for guided activities?

A minimum of 2 days in advanced is required for all guided activities

5. I am interested in joining guided activities but I don’t have much experience. Is it suitable for beginners to join?

All guided activities are accompanied and led by experienced guides. Be rest assured as our guide will assist visitors during the guided activities.

6. Does Taman Negeri Rompin allow visitors to go for camping activities?

Camping activity is allowed. Please refer to Rates & Packages page.

7. I have a chronic disease but I want to join outdoor activities. Is it possible for me to book and join any of the guided tours?

Visitors with chronic disease are not advised to join guided tours. For further clarification, please contact us before booking. TNR will not be responsible for any incident that occurs related to the visitor’s health.

8. What are the other facilities available at Taman Negeri Rompin?

We provide basic facilities such as public toilets, surau for prayer, multipurpose hall, campsite and cafeteria.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

1. What is the payment policy for guided activity booking?

TNR requires pre-payment for each of the guided activities via website booking or bank transfer to our account at least 2 days before arrival date.

2. I have made a booking and suddenly it’s raining and the weather does not permit, what are the other options?

The option is to reschedule, postpone or cancel the tours subjected to the weather condition.

3. What is the cancellation policy of Taman Negeri Rompin? Can visitors get a refund?

Taman Negeri Rompin cancellation and refund policy is subjected to the weather conditions during the tours.

You can raise the refund request for your booking by email at info@rompinpark.my or call to our booking office at +607-7991204 with valid refund reason.

Your refund request will take up to 14 days.
